Hypomnesia
Brainwave Interactive Game Installation
Saturday, April 01, 2017
Hypomnesia was created in Blender with Neurosky Brainwave sensor. By getting the data of one’s attention level, in this project, I try to visualise the abstract experience of reminiscence. The viewers are allowed to ‘intrude’ into my memory, simultaneously, there are possibilities of their memories being distorted without consciousness.

Lound = Light + Sound
It is a self-generated instrument. By gently pushing the bottles, the light of the laser projection generated sound. It can be a projection machine which creates noise. It can also be a sound interface which is in the form of an illuminant. This instrument tends to discover the ‘in-between mystery’ through raw electronic components. Getting rid of computers, there is only vocal light and visible sound.
Post-Industrial Landscapes 4.0 - Sugar
CNC Machine, Interactive Sugar Sculptures
Monday, July 04, 2016
Sugar is sexy, superbly psychedelic, stimulating, sweet and synonymous for a society of hyper consumption and addiction to instant gratification in all levels of life. Therefore, an Arduino based CNC machine was created for sugar printing. A series of interactive sugar lamps were later shown in the Osage Gallery, Hong Kong. The sweet-smelling, seductive colour and the dazzling lustre of the sculptures brought lots of attention. However, the excessive concern finally brought the death of the pieces (the melting of sugar).
Living Cubicals
Projection Mapping, 3D Modelling
Friday, November 27, 2015
With skyscrapers erupting everywhere into view, Hong Kong has adapted its architecture to accommodate the masses. To imitate the way today’s residential apartments stacked, discarded supermarket boxes were built into a big 'mountain' as a projection space. Separation can bring possibilities, while segmentation can even bring more imagination.
Synapse
Sensors, Processing
Sunday, May 11, 2014
Synapse was our first tryout of creating interactive system. Combining brain wave sensor and moisture sensor, basically, we started with our daily habitual movements, such as blinking, thinking and sweating, a visualise and songful nervous system was created, making the ignored movements visible and enjoyable.
