The Angkor Wat of Siem Reap is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Southeast Asia. However, when we enjoy the marvelous spectacles, we are easy to ignore the history behind this old land.
Our protagonist Mr.Sirey Rattana is the director of the 'Little Angel' orphanage house. He himself became an orphan in the Khmer Rouge massacre. He didn't lose hope, instead, he opened 'Little Angel', accepted as many children as he could afford. Not only providing place to live and food to eat, but also teach them cowhide art techniques so that the children, when they grow up, they can live on their own.
This film won the 'Outstanding public welfare short film' prize in the Second Annual Shanghai Commonwealth Micro-movie Festival.
